Examples of the three basic colours in Columba Livia modified with dilute. Ash red becomes Ash yellow (Chinese Owl), Blue becomes silver (Danish tumbler) and brown becomes khaki (African Owl).

Nice example of Ash red split blue. This happens when a male has a different basic colour on each of his Z chromosomes. He has the dominant colour mutation Ash red on one chromosome and wild type blue on the other. His pattern is chequer. #pigeonsky
