Spotted these out on my walk yesterday. It’s been 5 months since I gave myself a concussion, and I’m still not fully recovered. I only just started driving two weeks ago, and only for short errands or appointments. Not sure when I’ll get on a bike again. Probably not till 2027.

My aunt & uncle wrote this book just before they opened Newman-Adler Famous Outfitters (later Newman Outfitters) in Cleveland, Ohio. I’m reading it now for the first time, and I have to say, this book is a delight. Some of the info is outdated, but there’s also a lot of lost knowledge in here.

Between the two Quotas I own there was one good set of well matched injectors (had all four cleaned and flow tested). Installed them this morning and test fired. All signs good…idled fairly smoothly, even cold, without the fast idle on. Will test ride tomorrow or Monday.

Paddling.com published this and I'm 🤯. How can a magazine *dedicated* to paddle sports call a canoe paddle an OAR. And who the hell has a paddle that doesn't float? Also, a paddle leash is a TERRIBLE IDEA, unless you want to get tangled in it, held under water, and drown. #paddle #canoe

Well, she’s still not running right. New coils and wires. New fuel lines and manual petcocks. New crank vent system (old was plugged in the frame). Voltage is strong. Swapped to stock-mapped, known good ECU. Fuel system cleaner didn’t help. I guess I’m digging into the injectors next.

Sitting on the listening couch this evening. Running Apple Music through the main stereo: Mac Mini > external DAC > NAD integrated amp > Klipsch bookshelf speakers backed with a Klipsch powered subwoofer. Using the Remote app to control Apple Music on the Mini (not casting).
