*Writing update 12/21/23* Great novel-writing progress tonight so far. Tea and delicious/expensive bread on hand. The best stuff happens outside of the limelight.

I cannot remember the last time I saw an anthropomorphic seal. So I wove a spell in Bing AI and made one! I doubt he'll appear in my more serious work or writing, but I'm happily surprised at how well this guy took to the anthro-treatment!

*Writing Update 12/18* Got in a good 3-4 hrs on my novel yesterday. I went back and read my work from last week aloud, ironing out character voice and fixing an embarrassing chronological error that nobody will ever know about!

I decided to develop a character based on a species I love but rarely think about, and came up with this red squirrel! Part Beatrix Potter, part agro platform adventurer, all high-metab and helpful adventure-bro. Found the right Bing AI spell after a lot of failed attempts.

Doing a ton of long fiction writing this weekend and loving it. My latest scene to develop character involves two friends infiltrating and exploring the long-abandoned and spooky Seaview Hospital on Staten Island. Years ago I teamed up with a buddy to explore this place, and boy was it a trip.

Took a week break from social media to get not-sick and take care of Christmas stuff. I'm back now and looking forward to what you animals have been up to! =^.^=
