New post(s) on Patreon. Stuff on how I'm in my annual mental decline, struggling like crazy, and a plan that leaves me delayed with recording for a while longer. It's one of those 'Works out in the longrun' type deals. The intention is to be able to focus on things like recording consistently.

What a time it's been; I've had insane levels of insomnia, it's flared up the worst parts of my mental illness, I stopped eating... And then a family member had a heart attack. They've just gotten back from hospital after needing an operation on their arteries. These have certainly been events.

Public report on how things are going right now. It's vague on details about the project itself, because I'm currently, yet again, re-thinking how posts are done on there. Details about that & why I'm dragging my heels are in the Patreon post itself. Please excuse me while I get through this.

Sooo just in case I end up dragging my heels a bit; After going through a lot of stuff recently, I just took a little bit of time to focus on checking out a couple of games for the dreamcast. I... Kind of forgot how good Sonic Adventure is 💙 Been spending longer than 30 minutes at a time with it.

New preview is up. Hardest scene to do yet. Next sequence has a total of 9 lines. Got room to do other stuff 🤘 I was going to show some of the new VO to everyone before post-processing, but then I decided against it. Sorry it's only 15 seconds, but it's loaded with dialogue, and I got insecure 🥴

I've just resurrected my dreamcast 💙 Should reserve social media for VA & project related things, but here, an exception has been willingly made. I'll be spending about 30 minutes a night re-visiting the likes of Sonic Adventure, Star Wars Racer, Tony Hawk 2, Phantasy Star Online, and many others 😌

All 23 lnes now done. 2 tasks remain; - Make these lines into seperate sound clips (It's a folder of 20 - 30 mb vs. a folder of 7.65gb). - Import every clip into the main file where everything is streamlined (Approximately 4 minutes of audio with 40 seperate tracks). I can now finish this bit.

18 out of 23 lines now finalised for the current of the film project. The last 5 aren't the kind of nightmare I've just had to deal with to make these other ones work. The process of recording again is so very near...

Trying to re-integrate Bluesky back into things. Matters such as actually responding to people on here & all that. As stupid as it sounds, please bear with me on that. There's an awful lot of 'Parameters' in my brain that I'm struggling to take down. Yet another long story in my existence.

[Copied from X] I feel I can't explain much, but long story short, I live somewhere that's going through incredibly frightening law changes right now. You might be able to guess where that is. I just want to say a couple of things, before I might not be able to say anything at all.

Apologies for my own struggles spilling out so openly into public view. You shouldn't be hearing about any of what I'm going through, and I certainly shouldn't be telling it. If I had full control of my mind, you wouldn't be. It is a very long story. Short version; I'm quite damaged beyond repair.

I am aware that if I were to succeed in ending my life, the absolute strongest reaction it would ever muster, my own family included, would be "Well it's a shame, but what can you do? Anyway!" And do you know what? That's exactly how it should be. I should never have existed to begin with.

New video preview is available. Most demanding sequence of the whole film so far, in terms of editing at least. Had to make half of it from scratch, and edit the rest so it all goes together smoothly. Was going to show more of it in the public preview, but I suddenly became wildly self conscious.

Received a comment on this today. Got reminded it's a thing I did. This caused a controversey between me & the composer. I still despise him to this day... Worst part is I wish I could just let go of it. Anyway, almost done with the bit I'm working on. Just felt like dropping this along the way 🤘

Final brand new scene constructed. Had to put in most audio & camera changes myself. Now back to doing voiceover. Didn't realise it took this long. This is what this project does. What it takes from me, and why I have to finish it. It's best that I'm not around to rant anyway.

(1/5) I'd like to send some words into the aether, in hopes they might be of use to anyone who has come up with their own voicework for the character 'Sonic.exe'. I don't know if this is considered an unwritten rule, but it's advice from me that's not for the voice, but for what you do with it.

Main bulk of audio optimisation done. Full breakdown on Patreon of the next few tasks before more recording can happen. Text only, unfortunately. Seeing the material I've already got for this is a huge deal. This whole thing feels more real than it's ever felt now. My absence here is not in vain.

Most of the way through optimising all audio recorded so far (10mb of files vs. 1gb+ at a time, was running out of hard drive space). Working on the last few scenes now. 2 sizeable progress updates have been made on Patreon throughout this process. Focusing on this so I can record the rest.

New video preview is up on Patreon. 52 seconds available to view for free right now. It's taking forever because the cutscenes have such strict requirements to do correctly. You'll see. Hopefully. From now on, I'll be doing full sequences of 5+ minutes at a time. It's the only way to finish this.

Almost done with the current scene. Video preview arriving on Patreon in a few days. 2 or 3 at most. Regular updates are now in effect. As regular as I can make them. It's very painstaking work with the audio in particular. Hope all is well with all of yourselves. I've got tunnel vision with this.

A meltdown over matters concerning family & finances was on here. Pointlessly, it's gone now. I've got screenshots, because someone's probably done that already, because it's the internet. I deleted it because it's not your waking nightmare, so you shouldn't hear about it. Patreon stuff only.

Current task done. Public preview is 12 seconds. The voice is there in some capacity. Onto the final cutscenes. I need the distraction. Also to finish this, but I'm not sure why. I'm sleep deprived, migraine driven, shaking half the time, constantly afraid now & my head's noisy again. I deserve it.

I don't want to say the things I've said about anyone, much less my own family. I don't want it 'On record'. Just couldn't hold it back. I want to forget. Forgive. I've tried so many times. I wish I could lie about life. About them. Or just not mention it. That would've been great. I just couldn't.

I've a feeling I should bid farewell to anyone I've gotten to know here, by any measure. By the time I'm "Me" again, I'll be showing up to say a heartfelt hello to people I'll have thought of at least once a day, every day. The response, if any, will be either "Who are you?" or "Oooh... Yeah. Hi."

Remembering the last time I swung by my neck or was slumped & twitching from head injuries, I think about if a certain sound should be the last thing I hear, if I try again & succeed. This should be the theme of a bullet going through my head. However much I'd hear of it before the gunshot, anyway.

Haven't touched Wrath for a little while, so have whatever screenshots I got out of it before yet again being pre-occupied by the loop of insanity. 3 levels done, 2 levels & the last boss left. Shall pick this adventure up again at some point. Just not yet. Boundary of the Living:

Some bury their head in sand. I bury mine in sound. This is the only way through for me. To write, record, edit & upload my way out. I have to do this. I really do not feel like making another thread on what the deal is with this stuff. With me. There's work to be done & I'm doing it.
