Diets of the starlings that roost in the urban center of Nagoya during autumn and winter, revealed by fecal eDNA metabarcoding, include not only fruits of trees (also planted in urban parks & streets), pest insects of lawns, but also persimmons and pest insects & water snails of paddy. #ornithology
