11/03/2026: Cedric Ricks was executed by way of lethal injection in Texas. He was sentenced to death for the murder of his girlfriend, Roxann Sanchez, and her 8-year-old son. Cedric was pronounced dead 30 minutes after the procedure. He apologised to Roxann's older son, who survived the stabbing.

23-10-2025: Following an unsuccessful appeal challenging the use of nitrogen gas, Alabama executed #AnthonyBoyd. Anthony's final words were, "I didn’t kill anybody. I didn’t participate in killing anybody. There can be no justice until we change this system…Let’s get it."

Tomorrow, Anthony Boyd is scheduled to be executed by nitrogen gas in Alabama. If executed, he will become the state's 5th execution this year, and the 8th person to be executed by nitrogen since its enforcement. It continues to raise concerns of violations of the 8th Amendment.
