Beautiful start to second day of conference with students.

Hoco dress up day was teachers dress like students and students dress like staff. I was hassled in the hall by a group of administrator dressed students. Wanted to see my pass and checked me for a vape. I told them "bruh your doing to much"

My success of the day. I have a student who dug a hole gradewise that I really did not have hope he could backfill. The CAD lessons scaffold so you can't really just skip ahead. At the end of class today he is only 4 assignments behind. Last week it was 22. He's going to make it.

My wife and I enjoyed the evening in Apalachicola far from home. When I went to pay the dinner and bar tab was covered.

Was I prepared for a three year old swim student to belt out the words to "Sweet Child of Mine" from our playlist? No but I approve.

Scheduling swim lessons from 9am to 8pm is idiotic......oh wait I made the schedule.

I have a student with 32 missing assignments this quarter. I have met every accommodation. Weekly parent contact was made. Case worker was emailed (without any replies) bi weekly. Today it was suggested that I find a way to pass them.

I had a student three years ago in my first level class who refused to do a presentation, said he would just take a zero. Today he got up and gave the first presentation in front of his peers in his school life. Damn I was Proud of him.
