I have chosen my monthly Garmin challenges. 🥲

Just reading about this bill thingy.. Well if my posts go quiet, it’s because I’m not here on the platform anymore. Didn’t last long. Oh well.

Got myself an upgrade/newer Garmin watch recently. Earnt 14 points during June alone, almost level 4! 😄

I had planned to do a 40+ mile bicycle ride yesterday. unfortunately we’ve got a real hot spell of weather this week so I chose to call it off, sunburn is no joke. 🥵

This months Garmin challenges. 😬 1x 20hrs of total cycling throughout the month. 1x 25 mile ride, 1x 62 miles spread over 7 days, 1x 3 mile walk, x20 activities of at least 20 minutes. 😧

Went on a ten mile walk in Sunday, was great. Followed by a winter cold the very next day. 😭😩

Planning another walk on the Seven Sisters next month. Did it back in June. Probably in for some interesting weather this time.

Lost about 3kg over December. I’m trying to get down to about 70’ish kg so it’s a big help. A leisurely walk with my Garmin, to boot.

Took a couple of weeks off recently. Went for a 18 mile walk along the Grand Union Canal with a friend. My feet hurt! 🥲

Got my bicycle back from the shop. Took a bus ride there and rode it 18 miles back home. 😁

Had a great time at Alton Towers theme park over the weekend. Myself and pals managed all the major rides and attractions in a single day. 🎢😀

I know he’s trying to help but sometimes I just want to switch off and have someone else take care of things. Even if it costs money

Dropped my bicycle off at a shop for some repairs. Dude was like ‘it just needs a rear hanger, you can do that yourself’ I know hun.. but it still needs alignment and set up. Since when do business’s turn away ‘easy’ work.. Or that I’m not worth the time.

Here’s my first time doing a wheel bearing. For those eagle eyed, dw the retainer pin -was- fitted to the castle nut in pic 3. 😋

So this is quite comical. The Astra wheel bearing needed replacement, the 306 washer pump is broke and had a rear puncture, now the Citigo has a front puncture. All in the space of 4 weeks.

It’s crazy how it comes in waves during this time of year. Just absolutely emotionally drained, not willing to do anything or speak to anyone. Then when it passes, your like.. huh.. wtf was that?

Man the last two weeks have been a ride. Great weekend spoiled by someone hitting my car. All is fine apart from some winter s.a.d. And lack of any work holiday.

Went out for a riverside walk along the Thames over the weekend. Ate at a lovely picturesque pub. Yum!

Looking back at some old photos where I use to cycle a lot. Optimistic about summer coming up, hitting the gym and getting some of that figure back again.

Whoops, I forgot about this thing, 👀 Let’s get some content going.

Had one of the cars in for a major service. Quite expensive. Asked the mechanic to do one very small simple thing and they forgot. Now have a gearbox fault light. Time to grab the obd2 reader.

Up at 6am on a Saturday. 😳So heck thought I’d go for a drive and get a coffee.

New vs. old:

This cold weather is really draining the batteries on the cars. We have a 1.5amp trickle charger but I think a proper conditioner would be better.. More to come.

Who’d have thought that doing 12hr shifts this week would actually help kerb my mild anxiety issues. Staying focused, away from wandering thoughts.

My McDonald’s order had my furry name on it. 🤷‍♂️
