Just had the most baffling experience with technology in some time. Restarted my Wifi network this morning and my son's Hatch sound machine started buffering??? It plays exclusively white noise - why does it need to buffer!?!?!?

Typically "line noise" is referred to as excessive symbols or special characters, however I think if err != nil in Go fits the bill. It's significant enough to push people away from the language. Is there a better way?
