Twisp WA at least 700 people in a valley numbering 5,500 showed up for #NoKings. Almost as large as the women's march in 2017.

We made an attempt to escape high 90s temps with a journey to the mountains.

Perfect day in the mountains. Not too hot not too cold. Saw 1 bear, 3 deer and 3 eagles.

I rode too far and became dehydrated yesterday.

First bike ride of the season. Kimchi sets the pace and I follow behind. I'm riding my first Mountain Bike, a 1983 Stumpjumper. This is also the first mountain bike allowed in Denali National Park in modern times on the park road.

Many years ago we adopted Ganik from a group in Canada. When it came time to leave we were loading our luggage into our car and we found him sitting in the trunk like this. He was sure we weren't leaving without him.

I love to hike and one of the wonderful sights is the wildlife we see. Like these Raineers running by.

One of the locals. To firewise our house we cut some trees down. This pileated showed up and hasn't left. Normally I buck up the trees and stack it for firewood for friends but left the trees down as he worked them for food.
