I had a lot of fun making these self portraits yestoday. I’ve long struggled with self-confidence, but I’m finally starting to get comfortable with who I am as a person and not worrying as much about how I’m “perceived.” I turn 34 in just a few weeks. It’s about time.

This is how my work day usually looks

knock down the entire White House and put up a McMansion imho, it’s far more suited to America’s present-day values lol

So far I'm not 100% sold on the "medium format look" - like, when shallow DOF is in play it's great, *but* for general street photography it seems like F8 and above isn't really all that different from 35mm. I'll likely be reserving the C330 for more focused project work at this point.

Something that is exciting me right now is that I feel like I'm starting to move a bit past *just* street photography. I think it'll always be part of my practice (and a good excuse to get out of the house), but my perspective is changing with photography in general - now I have projects.

ICE is stockpiling arms, including chemical weapons, guided missile warheads and explosive components. The spending dwarfs anything we've ever seen in the agency - a 700% increase. The President is building an army to attack his own country.
