EA have announced they will be acquired by the Saudi Arabian PIF, Silver Lake and Affinity Partners for $55 billion. Will no longer be a public company. Upon completion of the deal, EA will remain ran out of Redwood City with Andrew Wilson as CEO

Nintendo Direct announced for Friday It's been 9 months since the last Aspyr Star Wars port and still not Jedi Survivor or Fallen Order reveal for Switch 2. Wonder if there might be something there?

Star Wars Outlaws has just been updated on Switch 2 to version 1.0.4; 4.5GB in size. No patch notes just yet.

Ubisoft say Switch 2 will get the Star Wars Outlaws Demo later this year (had been wondering if that would happen). In regards to future Switch 2 updates, they say "we will continue to evaluate the need for further patches after launch"

I didn't mention this in my Star Wars Outlaws Switch 2 review because there isn't much to discuss however I did test how the game runs in 21:9 and with higher FOV. There is basically no difference. Runs at 30FPS no matter what settings you use. Though I *think* 21:9 offers a slightly sharper image

Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 makes use of HD Rumble 2 in some great ways. Bass can be felt coming from the music performed by bands or in cut scenes when Kay presses a button. It changes depending what direction you look and move.

Star Wars Outlaws on Switch 2 features a couple of new features. You can use the touch screen to play mini-games, customise, use the map and even photo mode. There's a handheld preset on by default adjusting things like the HUD for the smaller screen. Docking it turns it off automatically, neat.

The games media have been reporting Star Wars Outlaws ragebait over the past few days for the Switch 2 release. People were playing old versions of the game...as I've been saying it has been getting improvements just before launch.

The best selling Star Wars games in July, UK, physically were LEGO Star Wars The Skywalker Saga (the 5th best seller last week too) followed Star Wars Outlaws & Jedi Survivor. If the resurgence didn't happen, I wonder if TSS would've eventually overtaken BF2 in all time sales

The optimisation & technical achievement of the Battlefield 6 Beta is fantastic. It's a crime we aren't getting a new Star Wars game running on a newer Frostbite version than Battlefront 2's. With Ubi getting out of Star Wars too, back to Unreal Engine stutter struggle we go...🤢

We've not heard anything on Star Wars Beyond Victory since Celebration. I wonder when it'll popup again? Gamescom maybe? But it does not seem like the right fit. Hopefully soon along with a release date.
