How am I supposed to get out of bed when this is happening?

This was Macey's first car ride after I picked her up from the shelter. She wouldn't get in the car, had to lift her up inside. Her nose was so pink. I love her to death.

This was the day I brought Rosie home as a foster. Her name was Binky. She's meeting the chickens next door and didn't utter a sound. Now she barks at a mouse fart 2 miles away. About a week later, I decided to keep her and she became my official Foster Fail.

What does this look even mean, Macey?!?! Every time this happens, I double over laughing. Can't help it. She makes me laugh every day.

These 2 rarely snuggle in the same bed, but the allure of a sun beam is too irresistible. The sacrifices dogs make for the orange globe in the sky.

Macey got a new coat and Rosie wanted to bring duckie on our morning walk. Duckie was not invited 😀

Yesterday I made tomato basil soup. It was too spicy and needed to fix. Added more tomatoes, fresh squeezed lemons, & more chicken broth. Just about right.

I've decided to cook my way through today. Decided on Beef Stroganoff because I had all the ingredients. This was one of those meals my mother made, not so well. She made it as a quick meal & I discovered you need to roast the meat. HUGE difference & comforting.

Baked some salmon for dinner and it looked so pretty!

Macey wanted to make sure Aunty Lisa saw her bone that looked like a door knocker. Weirdly she wouldn’t let you move it from her mouth. @lisaroyal.bsky.social was so proud!

Nearly 3 mile walk with this monster who has decided to lunge & bark at cars that pass by. Not at ALL annoying.

Went for a shorter walk today because it was warm. Here is one of our many timeouts on cool grass.

Finished my first half week of work at my new job yesterday. The people are lovely, no one is hostile, feels like a genuine team and they want to know what I think! So nice to be in a positive & sincere culture after so long. 🤞

Rosie got a bath today. I don't think this look says "thank you" but rather "how could you?"

Macey & I spend a whole day together by ourselves to give her a break from Rosie. This is after the dog park and chasing the ball and a nearly 3 mile walk.

This is a face of a dog that is unremorseful for stealing my spot in the couch when I got up for 2 seconds. Do you see this attitude?
