Today the vet almost made me cry telling me how good we've cared for Wash and how most of the time things end very differently.

No new updates. Wash has been pretty stable so I'll be getting back to art soon

Finally some positive news After a week of a prescription diet and IV fluids Wash's kidney test came back and he's out of danger. I cannot express how relieved I am. I truly thought I was going to lose him.

Charlie our cat was also showing the tell tale signs of kidney disease so I insisted on blood work and she is also in late stage 3 as well as Wash. She's still eating on her own but man. Can 2026 chill out for like a minute?

After a month and a half of vet visits and health scares we finally got a diagnosis for Wash. Turns out he has stage 3 kidney disease. The good news is his kidney's are still functioning but limited. All we can do now is monitor him and make sure he's comfy and happy until it's his time.

He's literally the cutest (Also Charlie is there)

This last year has had so many ups and downs art wise for me so no year art summary post because I'd just disappoint myself. Next year will be better 💪

It's always been kinda crazy to me how content creation has because this legit job. Like it's feasible to make bank being a fan of a game and just streaming yourself playing that game but fanartists have been a bit left behind in that sense.

i would rather not make anything ever again than use generative ai for writing a first draft or generating ideas or whatever. i would rather die basically

I'm so tired of the artist's profession being treated as something unimportant and easily replaceable. “We're just using genAI for concept art, trust me, it'll be live actors!” I mean, yeah, artists aren't really people, so we shouldn't pay them or respect what they do... sigh

Nothing worse than getting a housing video pop up on YouTube and the thumbnail is AI. Cool I'll never watch your video because you couldn't be bothered to even show me your build.

Wash is feeling a little better every day since we've been forcing him to rest and housing releases tomorrow. My awful very bad no good week is looking better!

Wash's hind legs have gotten so rapidly weak this past week we're going to have to force him into a wagon to taken him to the vet this afternoon. Watching him get old is so hard man

Literally imagining how beautiful a draenei neighbourhood would be. I need to level jewelcrafting

Realised that I'm may have made it sound like all housing items are locked behind dumb grinds. That is not the case. There are hundreds of items on vendors for just gold and through professions and stuff. I'm just personally grinding for draenei stuff and the majority of that stuff is in WOD.

On the bright side. Spending so much time in draenor has made me so excited to see what the housing team does with draenei housing options in the future

So if housing is supposed to be bringing in all these new players right. So much so that blizz is revamping the new player leveling experience and adding a returning player experience too.

Aside from one garrison campaign quest that I'm waiting to show up i have checked off all legacy quests and achievements that Homebound showed me I hadn't done. Feeling ready for wow housing finally

Even though I've actually played player housing on the beta now it still doesn't feel real

I simply could not wait. I'm going to have so much stuff to play with in December when my warband achieves and quests apply
