Some images that didn’t make it to the final publication. I decided that I didn’t want to put a picture of Timp in reads’ minds. I’d rather they imagine themselves or their own families. So I avoided describing the characters unless it was necessary to drive the plot forward.

My process. I draw using non-photo blue pencil. Ink and scan into computer. I then use Pixelmator pro to sharpen lines (disable anti-aliasing). Then shade using Procreate on iPad. #illustration #illustrating #writing #selfpublishing #writingcommunity #kindleunlimited #viking #comicart
