So finally gonna dump some art which I had posted last night on Instagram. A reminder why it took me so long to post, the reason is below. So btwn family life & LA wildfires the end of 2024 & start of 2025’s been wild & not in a good way. So this will be a #RWBY thread of stuff from past 3-4 months

I keep forgetting provide updates in Bluesky (I’ve been providing my updates on Instagram regarding our LA Wildfires and my status reports so here’s what’s going on so far. Screenshots because too long to post. Anyhow family and I are safe so far.

I’ve been deleting my artwork off of Twitter since I no longer trust that app. As long as Elon continues his support for AI training as well as letting AI bros run rampant on that platform. I’m only posting here, Instagram and KoFi. Pixiv…maybe but AI is also an issue there.

I think I really enjoy illustrating night time scenes because I can experiment with different kinds of lighting. And I absolutely love rim lighting.

My ‘Blake’ illustration was drawn out of spite to Al-bros that have the audacity to call themselves artists. In this artwork, she's killing a "Bull-Grimm" representing Al. I titled this Bumbleby illustration “Twilight in Vacuo.” When I drew this awhile ago, I wanted to draw these two during my favorite time of early evening.

Now for Yang Xiao Long. It’s so weird not hashtagging these things. All in due time I guess.
