In today’s demonstration the uselessness of Google’s AI summary. If you google the population of Gray, ME (one of the towns in my district) it will tell you that the population is 810. 🤣🤣🤣 It’s actually over 8,000. It’s from a website that says it’s based on census data. I don’t think so!

After a trying summer it was amazing to get live music in my veins. Caught The Pogues in Boston for the 40th anniversary of Rum, Sodomy, and the Lash. I was lucky enough to see them with Shane a few years ago. Glen Hansard was also on the bill and was incredible.

Today we said our final goodbyes to my amazing step-mom and if I can have half the impact she had I will count myself successful. The community showed up tonight and it was amazing to see. She had such a warm smile and open heart. I count myself lucky to be one of her kids.

So clear she’s never visited the museum at all. It is one of the best I’ve ever been to. The way I stood there in tears watching a video of Alvin Ailey’s Revelations playing there experiencing the journey from horrible beginnings to one of the greatest pieces of American art ever produced? Progress.
