Been asked many times lately “how do we know?” by students. So I brought in the day journal of my great x3 grandfather, John D. Anderson of Gray. I meant to grab one of his war ones but I snagged this one from 1868. It was -10 in Gray on Feb 4. Now 22 and snow. I have more of these at home.

Hearing about some local school walkouts tomorrow. One came up randomly in my FB feed and holy hell the comments are off the rails. So much whataboutism and blaming the schools for indoctrination. The gist seems to be that it’s ok for students to learn their rights but not exercise them. 🙄

ICE was in Gray today. 😡 I’ve only seen kinda vague reports but from what I read it was a stop at a gas station and they took detained people in with them. Possibly for the restroom before getting on 95. I have not seen any reports of someone being taken from there.
