Day 21 and 22 my heart wasn't in this one, pulled all my creative muscles into other projects during the day. but liked the scene in my head enough to keep going a little bit.

Day 20 tried a very minor amount of shading. it gave mime jr. a five o clock shadow instead.

Day 18 & 19 to make up for missing a day, i drew two at once. a lot of random things i had to learn with this random pick, but i think i'm slowly starting to form some kind of art style.

I feel horrible mentally so I have to skip one day. But that means I'll do two tomorrow to make up for it.

Day 16 Today is the birthday of a friend i met through another good friend of mine, so I dedicated the art of the day to her for her birthday. a version exclusive to her chat has happy birthday on it, but this is still the drawing of the day

Day 15 ok so i decided enough is enough and did this one when i was more awake, and the pokemon generator gave me THE chud son, so i had to draw it being a chud child and trying to eat a can of slug potion.

Day 14 I REALLY need to stop doing these at the tail end of the day and instead during the middle of the day when i have more energy. but at the same time doing them like this lets me practice making goofy depictions under sharp time limits. which could help me learn things? maybe?

Day 13 leaving this one as super rough. i need to learn angles and what not really badly. but wanted to give it a go either way.

Day 12 Sure, it's only been 12 days, so I shouldn't be "not proud," but this one was done late due to life stuff so whoops. i should try practicing more smaller caricatures like i did for venomoth, though.

Day 11 i do not like venonat or venomoth, they are chuds that i hate getting. but venonat loves to find me in nuzlockes.

Day 10 Very rushed very quick one today because i was doing things outside of the computer, and then had zero time when i got back home. So this one is VERY primitive, but i did the whole "only use shapes" thing, which just told me i need to learn perspective.

Day 9 This time I went for something a bit bigger, while also trying to tackle that one hope that some day I can draw "Gremlin Mode" caricature. Did a lot of study around circles and rectangles. Still a long way to go yet.

Day 8 This time I tried making things out of circles, however did not notice I could do other shapes until it was too late. I should try squares tomorrow.

Day 7 this time i gave the whole whole body thing a go, so good practice on this one too. even used references. but i'm gonna try, probably tomorrow, to do something with boxes and shapes, see how that goes.

Day 6 bro how tf do i do angles and side profiles. also switching from white to yellow to do contrast. streamer friend i watch recommended i do arbok but with an anchor tattoo and mom tattoos instead of the usual markings, i could not for the life of me figure out the damn angle.

day 5 A large part of this journey is that I'm going to run out of ideas a lot of the time, however that will also lead me to figuring out new ideas on the spot and lead to something better than I would have done before, I feel.

Day 4 I don't have a deep caption this time, I was just a little late before deadline because I had fun streaming and then playing Nightreign. But this was a nice quick way to teach myself how to translate what I see into something else.

day 3 The hardest thing, and this applies to a lot of artistic skills, is "Trusting the Process." When you have a vision in your head, and it doesn't come out the way you want, it can be demoralizing. It's okay not to be the master your brain wants to be, it's okay to be a beginner.

Day 2 hopefully i can do the funny thing of daisy chaining these. It's hard to be vulnerable when learning a new skill, to tell yourself it's okay to fall and eat shit, so you can get back up knowing what to do different. But that effort, is worth far more than any computer can generate.

day 1 of drawing every day to show you that is IS a skill issue and you CAN pick up a new skill i already know basic fundamentals, but hopefully i get better by the end of the year.
