Had lunch yesterday in this 17th C pub not knowing that it was where amazing David Bowie had his wedding reception after marrying Angie nearby at Bromley registry office. I should've known as used to live nearby in Dulwich- Beckenham and Bromley were frequent haunts in my youth. Great surprise.⚡⚡⚡

I have a chair I picked up for 6 quid in a flea market that is perfect for my bathroom. After many years use it's seat committed suicide so after much sanding, staining, varnishing and weaving I restored it and it's now back in my bathroom. It feels very loved.

Born on this day in 1940 my tribute that I sketched a couple of years ago to the absolute brilliant actor that was John Hurt. His portrayal of the wrongly accused Timothy Evan's who swung for the crimes of John Christie in 10 Rillington Place was one of my favourites of his roles. #ArtistonBluesky
