UPDATE: Three individuals have been charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose in relation to the incident where a firearm was discharged in the Gordon Head area: David Andrew Amrit Singh Miguel Widmann They remain in custody pending a bail hearing.

Our Major Crime Unit is investigating the discovery of a deceased individual off the Galloping Goose Trail between Burnside Road W. and the TCH near Cuthbert Holmes Park. A portion of the Trail has been closed to allow for detectives to investigate. We ask that people please avoid the area.

174km/h and impaired! A new driver was arrested for impaired driving and excessive speed, clocked at 174km/h on the Pat Bay Hwy. The driver didn’t stop for the officer either. Our officer later located the vehicle parked on a side street, not far from the highway. More info: tinyurl.com/2jeyb44z
