Due to a major leak outside Agecroft Cemetery, Langley Rd is closed from Agecroft Road. Cemetery remains accessible via alternative routes, with services unaffected. Repairs may take 7–10 days. Thanks to Salford City Council & United Utilities for updates.

This is spot on. I’ve long called for the two-child UC cap to be scrapped. In Salford 44.7% of children live in poverty with some wards close to 60%. Families and experts agree this cap must go. I’ll continue to raise this with colleagues and keep fighting for my constituents.

Outsourcing on our railways is inefficient, drains passenger revenue, drives down workers terms and conditions, and wastes tax payers money. I was proud to support @rmtunion.bsky.social members and Eddie Dempsey last week in their national campaign to end outsourcing on Britain's railways.
