queenbeesbfc on Instagram: "✨BUILT TO BELONG✨We’re excited to share this brand new coaching programme for women offered by Brentford FC❓What is Built to Belong…" ✨BUILT TO BELONG✨We’re excited to share this brand new coaching programme for women offered by Brentford FC❓What is Built to Belong in Coaching? 👉 Built to Belong in Coaching aims to address these challenges and support women in taking their first or next steps in their coaching journey. 🤔Why this programme matters: Despite significant progress in increasing the number of women football coaches -with an 88% rise between 2020 and 2024 - women still make up just 38% of coaches across the game. Barriers such as access to qualifications, time constraints, and a lack of visible role models continue to limit progression. 🤝What the programme offers Brentford will support 8 women who live, work or volunteer in our local community (London Boroughs of Hounslow, Ealing and Hillingdon) with: • A fully funded qualification of their choice: o FA Introduction to Coaching Football (Level 1) OR o UEFA C Diploma • Bespoke Continuing Professional Development (CPD) workshops and other opportunities • Opportunities to connect with other women in coaching Open to women aged 18 or over. Must live, work, or volunteer in the London Borough of Hounslow, Ealing, or Hillingdon. Must be able to attend all course dates. For the UEFA C Diploma, participants must already hold an FA Level 1 Introduction to Football Coaching qualification. 📆Key dates March–April 2026 – Launch and application process May 2026 – Programme launch session and course start UEFA C Diploma (Rectory Park): • 18 May (online) • 30 & 31 May (in- person) • 4 & 5 July (in- person) • 15 & 16 August (in- person) Applicants must be able to attend these dates.
