Not doing great at the moment. Nothing dramatic, just one of those periods where everything feels heavier than it should, and even small things take more energy than I have available. Taking it one day at a time.

Tried #crocheting for the first time. It involved a surprising amount of unraveling, counting, and asking myself where exactly that last stitch went. But after several false starts, I somehow ended up with this poppy—and I’m disproportionately proud of it.

Pain is temporary. Regret lasts forever.

I try to base my decisions on the plans I made when I was thinking clearly, not on how I feel in the moment. Feelings fluctuate, but intentions deserve consistency.

Still figuring out how to live in a body and a brain that both have strong opinions about everything.

Sometimes my brain notices patterns others miss. Other times I miss what everyone else seems to see.

My body says “rest.”
 My brain says “but what if we learned something new?”
 Negotiations are ongoing.

One rule I try to live by is Hanlon’s Razor:
 “Never attribute to malice that which is adequately explained by stupidity.” 
It makes the world feel a little less hostile, and people a little more human.

ADHD is having a brain that wants everything now, while autism wants everything exactly right, and I’m stuck mediating the argument.

Physical illness isn’t just pain or symptoms—it’s the constant mental math of energy, limits, meds, and “can I afford this today?”

It’s concerning how many people think rudeness is the same thing as honesty.

Having asthma, sinus issues, and skin flares means my body reacts to weather changes faster than any forecast app ever could.

Woke up tired. Didn’t do anything yet. Already tired from thinking about doing things.

Depression doesn’t always feel like sadness. Sometimes it feels like decision-making has been removed from my skill tree.

I don’t create because I’m confident. I create because not creating makes my thoughts pile up until they hurt.
