Today was a perfect example of how it's impossible to keep myself safe. I made appropriate lane changes to make a left turn. No one was around me until I'm almost in the left turn lane. A guy close passes me on the right to get to the light faster, yelling, Get off the road, bitch. Drivers are fun.

Appropriate for today: a woman (good intentioned) followed me, honking, then kind of drove into me waving an orange hi-viz shirt at me, too give it to me. At the time, I was like: Get away from me. She was trying to be kind, but understand that cyclists don't enjoy this kind of interaction.
