and see, the thing is that any normal person in my situation would just fix these problems in ways that I can't bring myself to. they'd fix their appearance until it's perfect, attention seek until they're loved, study/practice until they're good at something. but i'm just oh-so incapable

why does life have to get in the way of my life?

if I just had a shitty life, at least people would feel bad for me. but I have just enough good things that people just think i'm a fucking bitch for being upset. that's the worst part. at the very least I would have pity. but they don't pity me. they all just resent.

if only I was at the least fucking good at something, maybe then I could stop feeling so horrible, but I have no way to channel my feelings. i'm neither good nor bad at anything. just bad enough to not get compliments, just good enough to be "annoying" if I complain about my skill level

I mean, things have definitely been worse for me. it's not necessarily that things are bad right now, it's just that nothing fucking good is happening, or at least not enough good to outweigh the bad. not enough for me to be extremely upset, but just enough to make me chronically unhappy

I remember in October I told someone about my FUCKING HORRIBLE situation that I was in at the time, and I don't remember exactly how they phrased it, but they basically said that since so many bad things happened, good things HAD to come next because I deserve it. anyways they fucking LIED
