did a wild soda firing last night and here are some results! the pyrometer was only reading 2,120f but my witness cone 6 was already melted! i had to rush to spray the soda before things got too hot. i think i did a pretty good save 😅

this stage of the sculpting is hilarious🐟🐟🐟 started a new one today, while i wait for the silicone to set up on my last piece! i finally get to make the mother-mold for the silicone this weekend and i'm trying a new-to-me material, plasti-paste. wish me luck!

today i officially became an american citizen after over 18 years of struggling with my paperwork! i've always been legally here in america, but it's felt more like a trap since i couldn't ever leave. hopefully this new status will help me move more freely and visit more places to learn and grow
