Can we get a Taya Valkyrie x Xavier Woods hat photo shoot?

I know the SN+ versions of the TNA PPVs are edited down (which is fair), but Emergence was mid-match, had a commercial, and then went to a completely different match. Boo!

I know TNA's "Open Fight Night" was really "matches we hadn't aired yet", but I think that would be a cool way to do a retirement PLE/PPV. EG: AJ Styles. Let him pick his final match, sure, but let him book the rest of the show. No storylines, just matches he wants to see.

Canadian #AEW fans: Can anyone find #AEWCollision in their listings if they get USA? I've tried searching with AEW and All-Elite Wrestling and nothing's coming up.

Does Cody do special training in dress shoes or something? Or do those shoes have special grips? Either way, I'm impressed. I can barely navigate stairs in dress shoes.

Canadian #AEW fans: If you get the USA Network, it might be airing the Tailgate Brawl on Saturday. On my DVR, it shows up as an hour of Collision, but I think that's how it was listed for the All Out one as well.

In the multi-directional tribalism of wrestling social media, it can be easy to forget that yes, there are many fans who watch multiple companies. So I love seeing a shirt for Company A at Company B's show, or for Wrestler C at a promotion where she hasn't wrestled for 10 years.

Because I apparently didn't spend enough time during the week watching wrestling, I realized that the SN+ app/site has some of the TNA PPVs available. Time to make another watch list!

I know it won't happen, but I think a neat way to show the TNA-NXT connection as a partnership would have been to have Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater become a tag team and win one set of titles and defend them across both shows.

Anyone know when #AEWCollision is airing in Canada next week? The listings I can find for our USA Network aren't showing it on Wednesday or Saturday.

AJ Lee got the crowd to chant (positively) for therapy. Reminds me of when the crowd was chanting "He's gay!" for Bowens. Wrestling crowds can be really shitty, but sometimes, they can be awesome too.

I'm always happy when European fans get wrestling events because I know they don't get them often (obligatory: Western Canada exists too, companies!) but I appreciate it even more this week. We're having a heatwave and it's nice to watch the wrestling in the afternoon.

It's looking like I won't be able to go to either #TNAWrestling event in Edmonton in September, unfortunately. But I hope it does really well and that the crowd is awesome so they come back, especially since WWE and AEW tend to ignore Western Canada.

I don't know if wrestlers get to keep props from matches at all, but if I were Candice, I would definitely be taking a part of that broken ladder. Damn.

On one hand, I like that AEW tends to announce a match's time limit. It's a nice touch I remember from matches when I was younger. But if they think they can claim a 60-minute time limit when there's 13 minutes left in the show? No one's buying the possibility that it's going the full 60, sorry.

When fans said "We want a TNA wreslter to get an NXT title", I'm pretty sure most of us didn't mean Santino Marella.

Theoretically.... Could Naomi have cashed in MITB at Slammiversary and won the NXT and TNA Women's titles? Or would it have to be cashed in on a WWE show? (Disclaimer: This isn't against Naomi. I have no problems with her cash-in, and I'm glad she's a champ again.)

I have quibbles with the timing and the build for Evolution II, but that aside, it was so fun to watch. The crowd was lively and (as far as I could hear) respectful. Lots of chants. All the women did a great job. That was an event I wish I could have seen in person.

There was a small bit on the national news about Chinlock Wrestling having their 10th anniversary at Fort Henry and while I'm not familiar with the promotion, it was neat to see it getting a segment on the news <3

Backlash was... meh. I enjoyed Becky and Lyra, though it had a weird energy at the end. I haven't read much on the event yet, but seems like opinions vary on the Jeff Cobb intro. I liked it. It had a "Hey, look who's here" vibe with undercurrents of "Don't forget you're replaceable."
