I know the SN+ versions of the TNA PPVs are edited down (which is fair), but Emergence was mid-match, had a commercial, and then went to a completely different match. Boo!

I know TNA's "Open Fight Night" was really "matches we hadn't aired yet", but I think that would be a cool way to do a retirement PLE/PPV. EG: AJ Styles. Let him pick his final match, sure, but let him book the rest of the show. No storylines, just matches he wants to see.

Does Cody do special training in dress shoes or something? Or do those shoes have special grips? Either way, I'm impressed. I can barely navigate stairs in dress shoes.

Canadian #AEW fans: If you get the USA Network, it might be airing the Tailgate Brawl on Saturday. On my DVR, it shows up as an hour of Collision, but I think that's how it was listed for the All Out one as well.

In the multi-directional tribalism of wrestling social media, it can be easy to forget that yes, there are many fans who watch multiple companies. So I love seeing a shirt for Company A at Company B's show, or for Wrestler C at a promotion where she hasn't wrestled for 10 years.

Because I apparently didn't spend enough time during the week watching wrestling, I realized that the SN+ app/site has some of the TNA PPVs available. Time to make another watch list!

I know it won't happen, but I think a neat way to show the TNA-NXT connection as a partnership would have been to have Je'Von Evans and Leon Slater become a tag team and win one set of titles and defend them across both shows.

It's looking like I won't be able to go to either #TNAWrestling event in Edmonton in September, unfortunately. But I hope it does really well and that the crowd is awesome so they come back, especially since WWE and AEW tend to ignore Western Canada.

On one hand, I like that AEW tends to announce a match's time limit. It's a nice touch I remember from matches when I was younger. But if they think they can claim a 60-minute time limit when there's 13 minutes left in the show? No one's buying the possibility that it's going the full 60, sorry.

When fans said "We want a TNA wreslter to get an NXT title", I'm pretty sure most of us didn't mean Santino Marella.

Theoretically.... Could Naomi have cashed in MITB at Slammiversary and won the NXT and TNA Women's titles? Or would it have to be cashed in on a WWE show? (Disclaimer: This isn't against Naomi. I have no problems with her cash-in, and I'm glad she's a champ again.)

I have quibbles with the timing and the build for Evolution II, but that aside, it was so fun to watch. The crowd was lively and (as far as I could hear) respectful. Lots of chants. All the women did a great job. That was an event I wish I could have seen in person.
