Homework was to do a value sketch, since we could do whatever as long as it was a value drawing, I chose Great Girros While I would have been more confident with graphite pencil I chose charcoal pencil, since charcoal is what we're actually using in class and I need to learn

Anyway have a sketch of Swellow in my *attempt* at the Monster Hunter icon style (been a minute since Ive done these), I wanted to incorporate it being prideful and preening itself, while keeping the tail pointed at least somewhat upward-- as that's denoted as a sign of good health to the species.

To expand upon this I had to do an assignment on what fixed vs free time I have, and at the recommended minimum between course and homework I am committing nearly 60 hours to college a week, 42 to sleep (6 hrs a day), 14 to transit, so already before anything else more than 100 /168 hours is gone.
