Today's brief snippet of vacuous poesie Comes on the back of a writer hellbent On tweaking a deftly wrought story (not cosy) Yanking it after the story was sent.

When finally my head gets down to business, When arranging words stops causing dizziness, I need to swap some misplaced chapters, Delete a scene, erase the raptors. After cutting out so much, Burning the unused raptor hutch, I see act two come into focus, With style and substance, not hocus-pocus.

Far too bland to have wise words, my pen (though mighty) is for the birds. My prose, though sharp, is in it sheath and hidden depth lies not beneath. It's noted most for vacuosity and not intriguing curiosity.

A really quite clever young zebra Excelled in maths and algebra Not so good with sound His speech oft would wound The sensitive ears of young Deborah

Was there once a zebra called Z, With magnificent striped equine head, Did that zebra roam free, When the yanks called him Z, To rhyme with a joint in his leg?

It is a long time since last I did post, And I bet you have missed me much less than most, Still with this rhyme of whimsical poesy, I amuse myself and keep my cheeks rosy.

On the upside, I finally know the ending. On the downside, it is 4AM so I’ll be too tired to write it.

I have nothing to put here worthy of note but insist I might type it and say what I wrote. The void of my posting though blank intellectually asserts still my freedom online here contextually.

I quip and jest and rant and babble My words do not excite the rabble
