Hey Everyone Further South 2026 is coming up soon, I hope we'll see you all there. March 6th-9th, and all four days for only £65 per person, go grab your tickets now. We have music, games, dealers den, activities, fursuits, raffles, charity auction and much more. Watch this space for details.

Hey everyone, have you checked out our schedule of activities we're running for you? Which ones are you most interested in?

One week to go, do you have your travel plans sorted? Coming into Portsmouth by train? You can stop off at either Southsea or Harbour station, both on the same line, may want to get a bus if you don't fancy a twenty minute walk with your fursuit and luggage either way.

Only a few days to go. Who's coming back for a second year, and who's never been to a furry event before? Let us know in the comments.

Remember to come prepared for the Beach Party fun, even if the weather isn't baking hot and we're not allowed sand inside, we're still putting on a lovely party atmosphere for you, why not come dressed up for it too?

Last final last chance to get an activity, meet-up, talk, tutorial or other event added to our schedule, got some room to squeeze you in Friday or Monday or that little gap Saturday morning

Still open for a couple more DJs, including spaces in the big UV dance party, don't make our current line-up have to work two sets each. If you know anyone that might be interested, send them our way.

As always for a furry convention, we're running a little charity fundraiser to help support local causes, remember to bring some loose change for the collection pots, and be ready to bid on the auction.

It's come a little later than I was hoping, but we've surpassed last year's attendance, and that not counting a pawful of registrations still to be paid (if that's you, remember to get back on the website and pay before the end of the month)

Games nights are going ahead again, and even bigger. Not just board games, we're also opening spaces for TTRPG hosts, so if you want to run a D&D or introduce people to an exciting other game, let us know and we'll get you set up

There's also all the fun of the pier, it's just five minutes away from the venue, so we can easily head down there for lunch or a round of mini golf and be back before the next event.

Just a quick reminder for anyone that just clicks Agree on Terms of Service without reading them - Further South continues to be an 18+ only event. If you arrive at the venue under that age, we will not be able to let you in.

Final countdown time If your residential reg isn't paid for by midnight tomorrow, next time you log into the site it'll drop you down to non-residential booking, but don't worry, there's still time. Get in touch with staff if you need help.

As last year, we're running an arts and crafts space, come along to hang out, practise your drawing, clay sculpting, painting, origami and more. Bring your own stuff or just use ours, and show off the results to everyone.

Don't forget, there's also ample space right outside where we can run activities and games and just hang out in the park, if the weather is with us again this year.

Don't forget to sort your room share arrangements for the convention. Ask around, see if your friends are interested in coming too? If not, we'll have to assign people at random, and that includes anyone that's listed a room share partner who hasn't actually booked.

Four days in a hotel with a bunch of furries, sounds like a good opportunity to make new friends, and given the smaller scale of our event, maybe a little less overwhelming doing so for people that aren't used to crowds? Come hang out at the hotel and see who you can meet.

Where is our hotel this year? We're back at this lovely city centre spot, in between the park, pier and arcades on one side, and the local shopping streets and restaurants on the other side. Everything within a few minutes walk of the event.
