Boxing Day trip to the cinema to see “Conclave” WOW! Very intense, amazing cast, hidden world. Surprising twist at the end, which actually made total sense. Highly recommend. A very grown up film 😄

My mum’s new (ish) care home took her and her friends to meet some Alpacas! She loved it, so I bought her some Alpaca socks for Christmas. The sad irony is that she won’t remember the trip. Dementia sucks 😔

She passed everything with 5s, 6s & 7s!! The teenager is now off to a good 6th Form and my class did well too 😄 BUT the biggest shock was that my lovely tutee went from a grade 2 in her November mocks, when I started seeing her, to a grade 7 in English Lang!! Grins all round ❤️

Started to get the FEAR today. I spent a good 8 months redesigning our new KS3 curriculum. A new book each term based around topics, multiple text booklet to accompany. What if it doesn’t work? 😬 They’ll be reading 9 books with English by the end of Y9. My dream. Might be ok??????
