Thinking I might do a digital book collecting my reviews of nudist & nudist-adjacent films from Letterboxd.

I recommend every genuine nudist/naturist to stop following them. They clearly don't have the communities best interests at heart, if they can't even platform us, or care about the environment. When @truebluenude.bsky.social became president, I expected better from them, not AI slop.

Shame on the @aanr-social.bsky.social for using AI generated content. Not only is this a horrific thing for the environment (which naturists claim to care about), this is also misrepresentation of the community. This isn't an actual video of naturists, this is a lie.

Since I've been discussing racism in the nudist community, and I wanted to show the diversity (or lack thereof) in nudist film. I'll go into more detail later, after doing more research (with spreadsheets). Of those I've seen, I can only think of 2 fictional (technically 3) with black nudists.

Still looking for it, if anyone can help.

There's this video I found once, but never watched. It was a woman performing a comedy gig with a violin at a nudist resort (possibly Terra Cotta). And she was wearing a cardigan. That's pretty much everything I remember. Thought it was on IMDb, couldn't find it.

Reminds me, need to do a nudist film diversity breakdown. Started it, got distracted. Will say, that with the ASA banning black people from their affiliates until the early 60s, and most of the films coming out in the early to mid-60s, don't get your hopes up.

Didn't realise that Michael Winner, director of 'Some Like It Cool', is THE Michael Winner. Making me reconsider wanting to see it, but, not like he can gain from it, he's been dead since 2013. Awful guy, he was.

I've seen probably most nudist feature films, and several short films, and there really isn't a lot of diversity in them. It's almost exclusively white. 'The Beast That Killed Women' and 'Nudels of Nudeland' might be the most diverse, but we really shouldn't be letting those represent nudism.

The plot of the short is a bunch of women travel to Catalina Island to host a gathering for the Nautical Nudist Club, and some pervy man follows them (and gets his comeuppance). Thought it was ok. Gave it a 4/10 on IMDb (and it's now got an average of 4.2/10 in total).
