More Sega CD nostalgia. You might know this better as Space Adventure Cobra, but it released in the US as The Space Adventure. It's a graphic adventure along the lines of Snatcher, but a bit more risque. It got middling reviews at the time but is actually pretty good! Give it a try!

Here's another Sega CD "classic" for you! Part fighting game, part RPG, part shooter... all mediocre! I'm, of course, talking about Revengers of Vengeance! Japanese Mega CD gamers will know this one as Battle Fantasy. I think it's still worth playing as long as you know what to expect!

If my YouTube views stay in the toilet... I will probably drop it in late February. After 4 years of time and growth, it's insane to see the kind of decline that's happened over the last 12 months. I'm at roughly 10% of my total (that's down 90%) views in the past with no identifiable reason why.

Grades officially in for my class, 4.0 through all graduate school so far. Two more classes left until I get that master's degree. We'll see if I can end with a perfect 4.0!

I finished editing my video for this week about 3 hours ago. Started to render and it said it would take an hour... long but fine. Then it went up to 3 hours. Several program closures restarts later, I should have instinctually known Resolve 20 needs the newest nvidia studio drivers. Awesome.

Here's another under-appreciated Sega CD game... Dark Wizard! It's not much to look at, but it's a great strategy RPG with deep gameplay and an amazing redbook audio soundtrack. Also, it's the only game I ever felt the need to write down info in a notebook.

We did a thing! My first RPG translation is 1: Of an unreleased game, 2: in one of my favorite franchises, and 3: with a rom hacker that partially inspired me getting into translation in the first place. Super proud to have helped bring this out in *checks notes* just over a month!

My controversial, but heartfelt, take on CRTs. I'm glad they're gone. Back in the old days we tried everything possible to get a clearer picture. Now we have that and a segment of the community wants to go back to the older, blurry tech with color bleed and poorly defined pixels. No thanks.

I don't get what Final Fantasy XV fans love about that game. The story is barely there, the quests are dull, the world is small, its super short - it feels like a quarter of a game at best. It has great moments of pure spectacle, but there are only a few of those. I felt XV was a big letdown.

Here's the original Lunar: The Silver Star for Sega CD, the first game in the series. It was a little rough around the edges, especially visually, but has the best soundtrack of the original game and its remakes. It definitely has its charm and I'd rather play this version than the remakes.
