Four years ago today I was very nearly murdered by a corgi. Yes, that is my corgi wearing a sweater that exactly matches the sweater worn by the corgis on my leggings, tail and all. Perfection! Lucky for her, the sweater no longer fits. But I still have it, and the leggings and…muwhaha.

There is a chance I may have forgotten how strong half a muscle relaxer is. Maybe. Perhaps. But! At least I can now move my neck more than I’ve been able to in a freaking week. So, win?

So last May, I ordered a swimsuit for our trip in June. It never showed up, and to be honest, I kind of forgot about it and well, it was just delivered and damn I was very confused for a solid 15 minutes lol.

Fuck these assholes. They deserve to burn with the heat of a thousand supernovas. Tossing them into a volcano would be disrespectful to the volcano. RAAAAAGE. I have so much rage.

Today I’m distracting myself from worrying about my mom (she’s having long needed surgery and it’s very good that it’s finally happening but still, stressful) by planning 17’s graduation trip. They finally decided and now the fun begins for me. Like, seriously lol. I live for this kind of planning.

Rarely does a celeb’s death hit this hard but Rob Reiner is one that is absolutely gutting. He’s been a huge influence in my art because my art errs to fun and joy and silliness (see all the recent Millie drawings) but he was a shining example of how happy doesn’t negate it being art.

We lost Reiner tonight, but through his art he became truly immortal. People will never stop asking Mandy to say that line because Reiner created something beautiful that will never die. It is a gift we'll never lose.

To say that Rob Reiner and his films have been meaningful is putting it lightly. Maybe it’s silly but really, it isn’t. Art is meaningful and he brought joy and laughter to so many. The thing that literally keeps me up is that I know my ex will fight with me and will be awful over graduation, like I know him, it’s going to be brutal af once I tell him, but I’m also sure he wasn’t planning on being here anyways but knowing he isn’t welcome will make him explode.

Been busy all day with Southern Charm playing in the background. Just looked up and had a weird moment of absolute recognition as they were pulling into a hunting lodge in Georgia. Then they said the name and basically, they’re on the same street I used to live on. So, yep, definitely recognized it.
