I think I burned all my motivation to do anything in the morning. I was setting up some freelance accounts. I'm completely drained (I also didn't sleep a lot today, so that doesn't help).

I said during stream that I'd play Voltorb Flip to get Thunderbolt... but before I said I was soft-banning all beams, so I'm playing it to get an early Silk Scarf🫣And maybe a Wide Lens? Could be useful for Minun's Charge Beam and/or Thunder

Even though I'm still reeling from yesterday's migraine, I decided to play a little bit of Metroid Prime 2... and of course I died trying to make my way back to the save station near the Agon Wastes' portal room. Now I have to defeat the Jump Guardian AGAIN. Sigh. The true Metroid experience.

So yesterday after the stream I had a moderate migraine, bad enough to have to take a pill... and I'm relatively fine now?! Like, not totally fine, I never am, but usually these things last for days and don't clear overnight at all. Maybe the Botox is starting to kick in? I dunno.

I've been using reusable Nespresso capsules for a few weeks now. I lose a bit of time putting the coffee into them, of course, but the savings are insane. The coffee I usually drink costs .47€ per capsule. Using the reusable capsules + bulk coffee grounds, it costs .075€. That's 15% the cost.

I'm letting this game completely pass me by for now. I have to carefully dose my gaming time, and I don't feel like spending $60 on a brand-new game when I have tons of older games I already own to play. Plus, money is tight for me now. I hope everyone who gets it enjoys it!

Let's play the "is it a migraine or just a headache" game! Today, I've been having permanent pain on my left temple, which might be a weird unusual migraine (usually they start at the front) and thus I gotta avoid screens, or maybe it's just a tension headache, as usual.

I've had a pretty lousy weekend with migraines, and today I had an aura, which is actually a pretty damn rare thing for me to get. Imagine a bunch of fireflies in your vision for like 5 seconds, coming and going. My head is still mostly fine... for now.

I was planning on using Glaceon in the Trump Card playthrough, but *apparently*, Eevee cannot evolve into Leafeon or Glaceon in Johto. *sigh* I was convinced there was a Moss Rock in Ilex Forest and an Ice Rock in the Ice Path... I might have to use *gulp* Flareon.

I'm trying to think of ways to spice up the Trump Card playthrough, and one of the ways I thought up was to restrict myself to moves with either 5 PP (like Trump Card) or 30+ PP. But the truth is that the Pokémon I'm using just can’t learn enough of these moves for it to be a fun limitation.

I finally got (free) botox treatment scheduled for this Friday! Hopefully my migraines/tension headaches will start to get way better with this, combined with that new drug I'm taking.

I'm extremely annoyed at everything today for no reason, so I guess it’s migraine time 😔

Growing up, I thought being an adult meant people acted like, you know, grown-ups. They were serious and hardworking. But now I know being an adult means playing out dramas even more seriously and talking about people behind their backs even more.

I've been doing some statistical analysis on my migraine dairy, and apparently I have a 40% higher chance of having a worse migraine day 2 days after a stream, than the global average. Meanwhile, on days I play Balatro on my phone, the chances are practically unchanged. Why, I have no idea.

I wonder if anyone has ever bothered making a Pokémon Adventures-based romhack. It would be whack, but also make Kanto very different to explore 🤣

Pokémon Adventures finally caught its stride. It’s almost like an alternate take on the Pokémon world dogma you rarely officially see. Stuff like trainers calling out "attack!" instead of a move name. Or half the Gym Leaders being evil. A product of the wild west of the Gen 1 era.

Alright, now it’s finally doing something fun. Red went *up* Route 12 to Lavender instead of going through Rock Tunnel. Now that’s original!

I feel most writers get depressed when they find a story that already explores an idea they had lying around. Meanwhile, I'm like, "oh, great. I get to enjoy a story without having to write it myself"🤪
