Editor for Blender and Godot
Out of a multitude of scenes only a few are "playable" so I added this little level selection dropdown UI to the Top Bar. The addon also allows spawning from the camera position instead of the default spawn point. Grab it for free:

Added little wizard tool to setup and configure entities from UI instead of code. I will admit: data driven gizmos was a little scope creep but I still think they are super useful.

Cool, cool. The addon now correctly handles materials. I decide which godot materials I want to use on my level geometry and blender will load them. When importing back to Godot, materials will be resolved to original materials. No material duplicates, no pain ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)

Solid progress over the weekend. Entities are now imported and properly instantiated in Godot. The import pipeline also creates collision shapes. No more fooling around with name suffixes in blender!

Entities now show up as read-only 3D meshes. Those meshes are just godot scenes exported as gltf files. Next step: Write a godot importer to import entities and convert them into actual scene instances to close the loop :)
