Finally started watching Daredevil (I don't have my username for nothing). It's quite fun reading all the fics first and then going canon. One of my favorite realizations: "Oh. He is just as stupid and dramatic as all the fics said." Love the lighting and colors in the series, will do more studies.

I would need to be more immerged in canon and tumblr discussions to do things out of spite. I'm happily splashing about in fanon and fanfics, reading works from years ago. So, most of my work results from me reading a fic and having *a full blown illustration* pop up in my head.

The art, yes! Let me check ... I got issue #9. Saw this on sale once (hence the condition) and the art immediately caught my attention. Like, not only the often fancy cover, but the panels inside were more artsy, less regular comic style?!?! Sold. The story in this issue was the cherry on top.
