FROM THE ARCHIVES (2019): Views of Trump's first term tariffs were not positive in ANY country surveyed (33 of them). This included 79% of Canadians & 85% of Mexicans who disapproved of the U.S. increasing tariffs or fees on imported goods from other countries.

Our most recent Global Attitudes report looked at public opinion in Turkey. While most of the survey was on domestic issues, Turkish opinion of foreign powers was featured, and per usual it's pretty negative! For example, 80% have an unfavorable view of the U.S.
