This is probably a crazy idea, but wouldn't it be better to react to the *actual* budget, rather than to every leak and piece of speculation in the months beforehand?

Re BBC v Trump, strikes me the beeb should have used a visual version of newspaper journalists use of quotation marks to separate parts of a speech/written article. Cheaper.

Norwich aerial - a city of rivers, spires & stories. Built on the River Wensum, it grew rich from weaving, shoes, mustard & engineering. Today itâs famed for its skyline of medieval churches - more than any city north of the Alps.

BBC is in the same bag as The National Trust - under constant attack from the right who don't want to eliminate them, but replace them with a version that is friendly to their causes and opinions. This is happening in the US with public bodies being consumed by populist parasites.

I mean, it's nice to feel that you are attractive to people you care about and to feel comfortable in your own body, but being made of beef and having a 24 hour horn isn't the be all and end all of travelling through your life on this earth in a masculine body. Wellbeing is much more than that

One small bit of resistance the media and pundits could use here: just call it (as Sunder does) âthe World Cupâ and never âthe FIFA World Cupâ. Donât mention FIFA.

Across Norfolk, poor roadworks planning by the County Council is causing chaos, villages gridlocked, drivers frustrated, and local businesses struggling. Station Bistro in Wymondham is just one example of the brilliant places being hit by this mismanagement. We need better.

No expert on football but I think the players look like they are undertrained athletically and overtrained mentally. Unfit robots comes to mind. By the way Duffy should never play a half where he is looking into the sun, permanently shielding his eyes causing misplaced passes.

Labour doesnât really have a âdilemmaâ. It has a choice: change direction or die. Keep chasing Reform voters and Labour will be wiped out in the local elections and then wiped out in the general election. Remember that theyâre supposed to be on the left, and they could still win it all again.

This needs shouting from the rooftops. The Labour victory was, mostly, a result of the split on the Right. The split on the Right won't exist in 2029. Vote for the party that defeats Reform. In most seats, it's Labour. In others it will be LD, Green, SNP, Plaid..
