I think I'm getting faster with my eyelets stitching. I was able to get into a flow between this morning and about half my shift at work. I got all 22 done! I brought the shoe laces with me and tied up the bodice and then attached the skirt.

I figured it out!! I was struggling so hard with how to finish the final few chapters of New Witch on Campus. But, while listening to the Seven Miracles of Beatriz Holland by @rachaelherron.bsky.social , it clicked in my brain and I was able to knock out the Big Bad confrontation scene!

The last 2 items in my to do list are a mood. I woke up with a headache and on the edge of overwhelm after doing so much yesterday

Today's task before I go to work is to begin clearing out my office so I can rearrange furniture. Hoping Hubby will have success with his interviews this week so I need to take advantage of him still being home with the heavy lifting that needs to be done.

10 chapters done. Minus the outline and the chapter left to revise, my word count is 18,907. I'm pretty confident I can more than double that for the second half of the book.

So, on July 1, I started taking Ozempic. And 3 weeks later, as I'm about to take my 4th dose, I'm down 8 lbs! Yay!!

Parents, is it normal to be torn between wanting to give your child the opportunity to have all the experience and the desire to not have to deal with the meltdowns and tantrums that come with over stimulation and exhaustion? Cuz that's been me all week.

I bought 2 journals at the end of last year with the intent of making my husband his own. But, he didn't use the one for the first 6 months. So, I'm using the other book as a health journal. I don't know if it'll last a whole 6 months. Might set it up for just a quarter because I have a lot to track

So, I had to reschedule my "Adventurers of Thira" chapters. Apparently, Substack doesn't like when you just type in the date to schedule the post. I had to click on the calendar icon and the date and time. Not hard but a bit of a pain when I just want to "tap, tap, click" and be on my way.

Let's see if I can do better than yesterday. It's 8:25 right now. I have about 3 1/2 hours before I have to get ready for work. (I'm already dressed so that's one thing off my list, ha) Let's see if I can revise and schedule chapters 2 and 3 today before I have to go. And maybe finish writing ch. 4.

Why did I delete a whole chapter after I long hand copied and revised it? Now I have to type it all over again instead of just applying changes and copying to Substack. Great job, Past Me. Way to add more work. 😒

I finished my corset for #MichiganRenFaire!!! Been working on it on and off since April and I'm SO HAPPY! I feel like a princess.

20 days until I go to a small medieval fair about an hour from my house. And, this is my dress! Completely #handsewn #tudorera inspired. I was going for a kirtle look. I'll wear a white shirt underneath since it will be mid July in Ohio and likely hot as balls. Just need to figure out accessories.
