So it seems my weight-painting skills have improved since last time I tried this... Made a facial rig for my #kobold Tikkit, part of my ongoing revamp before I get back to arting. Got it done today and... I couldn't stop playing with it, he's so expressive now! (Compared to originally, anyway...)

More old art time! I made a mimic a couple years ago - never truly finished them, but they were my first mostly-from-scratch model not based on something else (i.e. clothing, basic props) and I think they look pretty cute.

I cooked today! Or... as close to cooking as I get, I guess XD Pasta with a tin of tomatoes, cut-up sausages, oregano, paprika, garlic, and a lotta cheese. Overcooked the pasta so it ended up a bit mushy, but tasted fuckin' amazing. Also my hand still smells like garlic like six hours later...

Another old render, from 2022 apparently! Kane, my one-word pirate captain. One of my oldest characters aside from Tikkit, and one of the core characters of my ongoing world-building project. His design - and species - has changed a lot since this pic was made, but it's neat to look back on!

Because the better a placeholder looks, the higher the chance that it'll get missed when adding the real assets, and the game might ship with it still there.

I normally find these super corny, but honestly I was super intrigued about this one ('cos kobold brain easily kept focused by food I guess lmao) And honestly... that tracks lmao. I have an anthro dragon character I've been working on for a while, I have her physical body attributes as well as background and general themes, but I'm struggling with colour schemes and patterns.

See, the trick here is to just... get a whole bunch of those scenes/character/events and mash 'em together! Sure, it'll be a bit weird and disjointed in the beginning, but refine it enough and nobody will notice all the sticky-tape you've used to hold 'em together! Or at least... I really hope so XD
