Massive for Arsenal that they can take players off 60 mins against Palace too. They can treat Palace as a competitive friendly ahead of PSG

Congratulations to Arsenal. 1000% deserved it this season. Most balanced team in the league. Title race came a year too early for this Man City team. I think they will be very good next year.

It’s got to the point where I don’t mind if Liverpool don’t make CL spots. They don’t deserve to be playing Champions League football next season.

Why do all new kits have to now be a throwback to the past? Maybe it’s because they keep churning out kits every year so it’s really hard to be creative? Life would be so much better for most if clubs kept kits 2-3 years like they hard to.

I really respect and love Carragher but that line from him that Salah is more ‘Salah FC than Liverpool FC’ is awful. Salah’s comments over the weekend, imo, were him taking one for the team. Why else would the players like/comment on it? If they didn’t agree, they wouldn’t be anywhere near it.

Man City will be fine without Guardiola (in the short term). Pep is leaving a pretty good starting XI behind capable of challenging and the person who reportedly could be coming in is a very good coach. Man City will win the league next season.

Re Salah’s posts. I don’t really care what any pundit or other supporter has to say on the matter. As a fan what he said resonated with me. The fact so many
#LFC
players liked his post suggests they agreed with what he was saying too.

My prediction is Liverpool conduct a review of the head coach’s position at the end of the season and then decide there’s supposedly not a better option out there and stick with Slot and then next season when it all goes wrong again, they then decide this is not sustainable.

I think this Man City win the league next season and the season after that. They’re building another something special team again. Pep has set the foundations and I am guessing Maresca will finish the project.

I’m not utterly devastated that Alonso is reportedly off to Chelsea. Still think there’s some question marks about if he’s top, top. But he’d be some appointment for Chelsea tbh.

This is absolutely brilliant for Chelsea but Alonso is taking a huge risk here. Chelsea haven’t proven to be a good place for managers especially under the new owners.

Next Sunday will be very interesting after the game at Anfield. I think Salah will keep being very open about expectations at the club and the style of football played this season. I’m all for it. The head coach keeps making excuses.

I also think it’s very telling about the sentiment towards the Liverpool head coach by the fact fans are speaking more about his position rather than the transfer window. Liverpool fans can’t get excited by new signings if the fundamentals are wrong. It’s different players, same results.

Alonso going to Chelsea is a dagger for Liverpool but honestly I question him for going to Chelsea, club is a mess and hasn’t given managers much time either. Plus I do think people need to study the season after Bayer won the league. Quite a big drop off in performance.

The way Slot keeps going on about the transfer window and how it will fix Liverpool’s issues is just ridiculous. Since when was the last time Liverpool had a 10/10 window and got all their targets? Imagine next season’s excuse will be well we didn’t get all our targets so this is what happens.

I wish Liverpool didn’t cause me this much pain. I wish I could not care about the results but this season and crucially, the performances sting. What makes it so painful is I know things are only going to get worse. I’ve seen nothing this year to suggest the team or coach will kick on.

Slot: ‘We also haven't scored enough goals, although two at Villa Park is not bad. If you told me we did that before the game, I would think we are not far from a good result.’ My head is spinning, I can’t believe he’s using scoring 2 goals at Villa as a measure of success. Awful mentality.

Slot: ‘If you miss nine players that can start a game of football and almost all of them are starters for us, or have been for large parts of the season starters for us’ Only ‘certain starters’ Liverpool were missing today: - Alisson - Bradley - Salah - Ekitike - Isak Injuries = excuses

Slot: ‘I think they are then underestimating what a window can do, what a new start can do.’ A top coach gets the most of the players he currently has and works with what he’s got. It’s almost like Slot forgets this squad won the Premier League last year…

have this season can be solved next season rather than working on them now. Liverpool are getting worse and worse. I don’t see how a fresh start changes it when the coaching methods are the same.

Slot fails the eye test, he fails the data test. By what metric do the powers that be at Liverpool think, 'if we give this guy another window, he will get them challenging again.' Liverpool have got worse as the season has gone on. They look more confused on the pitch with each passing game.

I'm telling you, Liverpool can have a 10/10 window but I promise you this team under the same coaching set up WILL be worse next season. There is no clear organisation on and off the ball. Better-coached teams with inferior players will beat LFC. Football = team sport. Better organised teams win

Only Leeds, Spurs, West Ham, Wolves and Burnley have conceded more Premier League goals than Liverpool. Each of those teams have been in a relegation fight. But yes, a couple of wingers will solve all of this for
