Upon opening the office door, Proton would find Archer kneeled in front of his Houndoom. He adjusted a new green collar that had studs all around it. Towards the bottom was a name tag and Archer's personal number. +

She didn't seem to get it, did she? Matori was lucky that his Houndoom wasn't in the room or this would have gotten quite ugly. A tired sigh leaves his lips as he reached inside his jacket inner pocket for a pack of cigarettes. In the pack was a black lighter he would use after taking one out. +

Was this a normal reaction for her? He only meant to tease, not have her go into a complete panic mode. Lowering his hand, he pulled her into an embrace, gently rubbing her back. "Matori, take a deep breath for me. Breathe.."

"I believe I proved that one to be wrong. I'm a man of my word, Matori. You have no reason to apologize to me, especially when it comes to social interactions. I'll keep my warning stated until you learn your lesson." +

At that, he found himself a little confused. "Taken the wrong way? No. I know you lot care. It's touching, and I understand the concern. However, a good share of the work I do is delicate, and if you haven't noticed; there are a number of members here that lack social skills."

Standing to his full height, Archer couldn't help but chuckle a little. "Considering how much I hear a number of them complain that I shouldn't give myself too much work and that I should learn to relax? +

Her question seemed odd, but it gave him reason to pause. "Occasionally, but not often enough to be a constant thought. I know my time and effort I'd appreciated, at least to some degree. Why do you ask?"

Archer gave a light shurg of his shoulders. "It's what I do to ensure Team Rocket runs smoothly. Someone has to step up when the Boss isn't around." He stands from his desk with letters of reassignment before walking around. +

"Nonsense. This wouldn't be the first time that I've had to adjust someone's schedule. So it isn't an issue with me. We have more than enough people here to spread the work around, so no one should be overburdened with work."

"Good. Your new schedule starts tomorrow morning. For the rest of the evening, you have leisure time. Hopefully, your amended schedule will make things easier for you."

"Not a problem. Are there any other concerns I should be aware of?"

Archer raises a hand, a silent signal to ask her to pause. "No need to continue. She won't be your responsibility anymore. I'll have her come to me instead. I'd like her to try and insult an executive commanding officer."

"Hmn. Do you enjoy talking to said individual?"

Glancing at her facial features, raising a brow. "What's that look for?"

"It's no problem. Everyone needs to use their time wisely. Having more tasks than energy to complete said tasks is an easy way to be burned out. We can't afford that, especially with someone who works so closely with Giovanni." He looks over the sheet and nods. +

He heard her enter, but he was in the middle of a business call when she called. Turning from the side of the room, he waved a hand for her to come in. "Think on my proposal for now. I'll be in touch." With that, he ended the call before crossing the room to sit back at his desk. +

He's actually impressed that she would go so far as to kill just to keep him to herself. Lowkey earning his respect.
