Matchgoing red since ‘98. Football & travel, often both. Stretford Ender W3106 🇾🇪
So the Europa league wasn’t meant to be for us unfortunately. However it was a great trip aside from the football, loved Basque Country. Both Bilbao and San Sebastián are incredible cities.

Went from excitedly looking up flights to Bilbao at half time, to frustration at full time, to being apoplectic with rage halfway through extra time, to astonishment and joy at the final whistle. Football eh. What a ride.

A game that will live long in the memory. Even the morning after I still don’t know what to say or how we’ve done it… but our season is still alive!

Had a great day over at FCUM for “United United day”. Two clubs with a shared love of MUFC and a shared hatred of Glazers. Decent ground, I’ll have to get myself down there more often.

Thats twice this week I’ve left Old Trafford happy with how the team have played. Makes a change. Really clear to see progress is being made. Let’s hope it continues.

Our best performance in ages and a result to match, the European dream lives on. Really pleased with that. Fernandes obviously the hero but other players with good contributions too, especially Dorgu who was phenomenal.

The one thing I can deeply respect about Ratcliffe is he’s being very open and accountable here. He didn’t have to do these interviews and it’s a level of communication we never had from the Glazers.

Just so refreshing to leave a game at Old Trafford feeling positive isn’t it. Been a while. Thursday is such a big game. Need to build on this performance and get the stadium rocking. We’ve got this.

Didn’t realise that was Ayden Heaven’s PL debut today, would never have guessed watching him. Thought he’s started his United career well and isn’t far off a start. De Ligt & Mazraoui excellent defensively too.

That game came to life after Bruno’s superb free kick. Really entertaining second half where we had the better chances, on another day one goes in and we get the win. Best we’ve played in a while. Happy with the team today 👏

Not fussed about playing Arsenal on Sunday. Meaningless game, we’ve got nothing to play for in the league. All attention should be on the 2nd leg. Would be calling for Amorim to rest players if we had anyone fit and available to come in.

Have to start using this again… Missed the game but happy with a draw. Normally that’d put us in a good position with the 2nd leg to come at Old Trafford. This year with our home form? Who knows.

Ruben Amorim: "The fans deserve it. It's amazing. It's not normal. I know you guys are used to this environment, but it's not normal. Congratulations to our fans. It's a big privilege to work for this club and give them wins.

Very fortunate to win that game. Not a great performance, bit of luck for the goal, but I’ll take it. Our first clean sheet for ages too, looked more solid at the back especially Maguire.

This team is crying out for some new faces before the window closes. We’ve got a manager who plays a system heavily reliant on wingbacks yet doesn’t have any. Rashford will need replacing too. We have such little goal threat every game.

Didn’t expect us to win the game today and we got what we deserved. Nothing. Never had the pleasure of experiencing a “just get enough points to not get relegated” season before but that’s what this is. Just got to limp on through to May.

Beat City away, won at Arsenal with 10 men & played very well at Anfield. 3 fantastic performances in games where we’ve often struggled in recent years. Amorim is the man. The success will come.

Can’t believe we’ve seen that out with 10 men. Backs to the wall away to one of the best teams in the country yet we’ve still won the game. Fantastic performance from all the players, especially Maguire & De Ligt.

Really pleased with our performance yesterday. First time in a decade we’ve gone to Anfield intending to win the game and it very nearly paid off. Amorim got his tactics spot on.

Increasingly struggling to recognise our club with some of these decisions Ratcliffe is making. The MUFC Foundation charity does so much good work in our city, cutting their funding is vile & indefensible.

Even with City in such dreadful form it feels likely they’ll beat us on Sunday. We’re long overdue a win in a big away game and this is the perfect opportunity… do we have it in us? I hope so.

3 huge PR disasters for INEOS within 6 months. Not knowing what to do with Ten Hag, the ticket price fiasco and now this with Ashworth. All whilst the team is struggling on the pitch. Dread to think what it’ll be next.

INEOS first 10 months at
#MUFC
- Extend ETH contract & sack him, costing £millions - Appoint Ashworth & sack him, costing £millions - Unprecedented ticket price rise - Mass redundancies - Overseeing worst on-field results since 1980s (28 league games, 35 points from takeover)

Going through all that trouble to hire Ashworth only to get rid of him when he’s been in the job 5 mins really isn’t a good look for the club. Especially after the debacle with Ten Hag in the summer. Makes us look indecisive and a complete laughing stock.

Everyone played their part today but Amad definitely the stand out. He’s been so patient waiting for his chance and now he’s finally starting to come of age in a United shirt. Not worried about his contract situation, just a case of when he signs….

My first game of the Amorim era couldn’t have gone much better. Comfortable win, we haven’t had too many of those to enjoy lately. Hopefully a sign of things to come.

United hiking all tickets up to £66 is an absolute disgrace. Just the 60% mark up on what I pay for my seat as a season ticket holder… Every decision INEOS make shows their utter contempt for supporters. They know the cost of everything and the value of nothing.

Haven’t been this excited for a league game in ages. Felt like an eternity since the new manager was appointed and today is finally the day of his first game. Bring on United.

Clear to see already that Amorim is a very different personality from Ten Hag, far more charismatic and a better communicator. Don’t think it’ll take long before we see that feed through to our performances on the pitch.

The more I look at my timeline on here the more I prefer it to Twitter. Will have to make an effort to use this more often. It’s full of stuff you actually want to see. I am fascinated to see how it all holds up when the PL returns this weekend 👀

Quite wholesome seeing Amorim in training with the players. Especially with Shaw & Yoro finally fit. Can’t beat that wave of fresh optimism when a new manager takes over.

Hard not to get excited watching that Amorim interview. He is so charismatic and knows how to build a team to get back to the top. This season is a free hit for him to learn about English football and to implement his ideas… important to remember even Pep needed a year!
