Films 2026. 5. Jesse Stone : Death In Paradise(2006) TV Movie where Tom Selleck plays a local Sheriff, this time investigating a dead body found in a lake. Slow burn and atmospheric. This is the 3rd in a series of adaptations of Robert S Parker's book series. Enjoyed this. 7/10

As a Marx brothers fan I can say that these shows are brilliant, the cast is excellent and its just a great idea. Then I found out how the shows were recorded. A 1hr live show (2 episodes) on stage in front of an audience,with everyone (inc. the crew) dressed up. Even had a Harpo there! Fantastic

Books 2025. 92. Timelines of World War II, 2025 This book cover the period from 1920 to 1951 and has details of events from most days. Every other entry is worthy of a book or film. You can see how Commando comics have managed to get nearlly 6000 issues of material from this. 9/10 #booksky

Films 2025 161. Up Pompeii (1971) Films version of the Frankie Howard sitcom relies on the question "Don't you think Frankie Howard is funny?" If the answer is yes you will like this film. Story wise slave Lurcio gets involved in a plot to assassinate the Emporer. Pretty good. 7/10 #filmsky
