Today i woke up confused to a bunch of artists on my tl telling each other to stay safe. Apparently, its now legal in my country to train AI models on any social media post, including artwork, photographs, etc... pretty much everything online. ...istg everyday i wake up things only get worse lol

spent yesterday going back & forth with HR telling them about my situation, asking them to email important notices since they usually send them via an app only accessible through my stolen phone. they said i can't start work anymore as both my ID and the app are mandatory on the first day lol
