I’m following these movies from something of a distance, but the fact we’re getting a Linda means we’re getting 1967-69 Beatles in these films (we don’t actually know timeline details yet, right?) and I’m happy with that much, at least.

For most of the 13 1/2-plus years I’ve written They May Be Parted, my dog Abbey Road would snooze either across from me on the couch or beside me on the floor as I typed. She was my everything companion and a wonderful dog. She left the material world Thursday but will always, always be here.

We're official with the Anthology announcement. Bummer on 4 -- we get NOTHING new/remastered from the Get Back sessions, which had the most recorded audio by a mile of any period in their career. Just three tracks already on the 2021 Let It Be deluxe

Meanwhile, this is my Anthology 4 wishlist: 107 LP/64 CD set of January 1969 Nagras. That’s it. Carnival of Light can be on Anthology 5. (It won’t ever be on anything)

Given the choice of sending my kids to see Paul McCartney or being able to afford sending them to college, I opted for the latter. Bummed out we got shut out of this tour - would have been kids’s 1st time seeing him, maybe we get lucky on the secondary market. But this primary one was pretty awful
