Explaining how to play Cyberpunk to my dad and halfway through my only thought was "This game has too many mechanics." Why is there a currency for unlocking the skill tree and another currency to unlock those skills? Why is there crafting? How can you immediately tell what you can/can't pick up?

Monster Hunter has the same problem as Dinotopia where you can create an incredibly interesting and detailed world, but it's impossible to write an interesting narrative within it.

This is the plot of every Monster Hunter game.

This has real failed Half-Life 2 mod energy. The first and only pics that ever come out of a mod that is going to fail are pictures of gun models and maybe one character model if you are lucky.

I like that Clair Obscur has a battle theme specifically for fighting goofy guys. Like "watch out, this guy is gunna be goofy" and they are goofy. They are goofy every time in their own unique goofy way.
