Had a lovely time in #Dinant, Belgium last September, on our way back from Switzerland. It's home of the saxophone inventor Adolphe Sax.

A lovely grey seal resting on the tide line. I love the way his skin folds make it look like he is smiling. I hope he is. I used a very long lens, so it looks closer than it was.

Our lovely churchyard. Sir Norman wisdom is buried in the newer section. It's a very peaceful place. This is the much older part. Some very interesting inscriptions on the graves.

The Christmas decorations have begun

The Pietà is a Carrara marble sculpture of Jesus and Mary at Mount Golgotha by Michelangelo Buonarroti, in Saint Peter's Basilica, Vatican City. The sculpture captures the moment when Jesus, taken down from the cross, is given to his mother Mary.

We're watching University Challenge and we love it when the teams have plushie mascots. #starterforten.
