I got a LOT of replies, comments and branchings-off of my last post. More than I'd expected. If I'd known how many of those utterly missed the point I was trying to make, I probably wouldn't have bothered. 😏 And no, this isn't an invitation to discuss it further--not with me, anyway.

I'd like all #StarTrek fans to read this, very carefully. Look. The absolute worst that can happen to you right now is if Paramount cancels all Trek projects and we don't get to see any more for a long, long time. I've been through exactly that. Twice. As you may have noticed, I survived.

I have no doubt that soon enough, there'll be one or more new #StarTrek series, that some people will love them and some people will hate them, and that we'll all get to go through the whole process all over again, possibly a couple of times a year.

On this week's #Svengoolie: "The Mummy's Hand." This was the 1st sequel to 1933's much-superior "The Mummy." It kicked off a whole series of movies where some poor bastard wrapped in bandages and mud had to shamble around while trying to look menacing. But it's fun, so there's no gauze for alarm.

I am a grown-ass man, and I have no qualms whatsoever in telling you that I just took a hot bath using a Spider-Man bath bomb.
